Do we really get married the same day?
Yes! We specialize in organizing same-day marriages. Contact us as early as possible in the day to ensure we have enough time to prepare your paperwork and ceremony.
Do we have to be California residents?
Absolutely! Residency in the California is not required by either party to get Married in California. Just make sure both parties have a valid (Non-Expired) form of government issued ID.
Do we need witnesses?
If you are obtaining the marriage license through us, then you will receive a confidential marriage license which we will notarize and does not require any witnesses. If you obtain a PUBLIC marriage license from the county then yes, California law requires one witness at your marriage ceremony. If you cannot provide a witness, let us know in advance, and we can discuss options to accommodate your needs.
When do we get the official certificate?
After the ceremony, we’ll file your marriage license with the county clerk’s office. Your official California marriage certificate will then be available for you to order from the county, usually within a few weeks.
Which location should we choose?
Choose the office closest to you — every location offers the same-day license, ceremony, and county filing. Los Angeles couples can choose Westwood, Century City, or Sherman Oaks or the Tarzana chapel; Orange County couples have Costa Mesa and San Juan Capistrano; San Diego County couples have Downtown, La Jolla, and Oceanside; and the Bay Area is served from San Francisco.
What if there is no location near us?
Yes. Our mobile service can come to your home, hotel, park, beach, or another location you choose. Mobile and off-site appointments may include an additional travel fee depending on location, distance, timing, and service requirements — every fee is explained before you book.
Can we bring guests?
Westwood and Tarzana appointments include up to 10 guests. Groups of 11–20 guests add a flat $75 fee and groups of 21–30 add a flat $125 fee; 30 guests is the maximum at both chapels. Guest limits at our other chapels: Downtown San Diego up to 15, San Francisco up to 12, Orange County (Costa Mesa) up to 12, and San Juan Capistrano up to 8. Our Century City, Sherman Oaks and La Jolla offices allow up to 2 guests, and Oceanside is a paperwork-only office (no guests). Mobile and off-site ceremonies have no guest limit.
Are your locations open evenings and weekends?
Yes. Every office is open 7 days a week, early morning to late night (typically 6 AM to 2 AM) — including weekends and holidays — and same-day appointments are welcome. Exact hours are listed on each office page. Pricing reflects standard appointment times; appointments outside standard operating hours may be subject to additional after-hours fees.
What do we need to bring?
Both partners need a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport), must be at least 18 years old, and currently unmarried. If either of you was previously married, bring proof of divorce, annulment, or the death certificate of your former spouse — the divorce must be finalized before your new marriage.
