Do we really get married the same day?
Yes! We specialize in organizing same-day marriages. Contact us as early as possible in the day to ensure we have enough time to prepare your paperwork and ceremony.
Do we have to be California residents?
Absolutely! Residency in the California is not required by either party to get Married in California. Just make sure both parties have a valid (Non-Expired) form of government issued ID.
Do we need witnesses?
If you are obtaining the marriage license through us, then you will receive a confidential marriage license which we will notarize and does not require any witnesses. If you obtain a PUBLIC marriage license from the county then yes, California law requires one witness at your marriage ceremony. If you cannot provide a witness, let us know in advance, and we can discuss options to accommodate your needs.
When do we get the official certificate?
After the ceremony, we’ll file your marriage license with the county clerk’s office. Your official California marriage certificate will then be available for you to order from the county, usually within a few weeks.
What do we need to bring?
Both partners need a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport), must be at least 18 years old, and currently unmarried. If either of you was previously married, bring proof of divorce, annulment, or the death certificate of your former spouse — the divorce must be finalized before your new marriage.
How long does the whole appointment take?
Most couples are in and out in under an hour: the license paperwork is prepared on-site, the ceremony itself usually takes about 10–15 minutes depending on how much you personalize it, and you leave with proof of marriage in hand.
Do we need to visit the county clerk first?
No. We are authorized to issue a California confidential marriage license on-site, so there is no separate county visit — license, ceremony, and county filing all happen through us.
Can you come to us?
Yes. Our mobile service can come to your home, hotel, park, beach, or another location you choose. Mobile and off-site appointments may include an additional travel fee depending on location, distance, timing, and service requirements — every fee is explained before you book.
What happens after the ceremony?
We file your marriage license with the county clerk’s office. The official certificate is issued by the county within a few weeks, and we’ll give you instructions — or help you request certified copies directly from the county recorder.
